CNC Milling Services
How we do CNC milling at Acutech
At Acutech Precision we can machine components from engineering drawings, DXF files, solidworks models or from an existing item itself. Whichever way we receive the information about the item we then decide the best programming option for it. Doing things this way reduces lead times and costs for our customers. We have the added ability of the Faro Arm which is fully portable. This means it can be placed on the CNC machine itself so we can inspect the component in production, before we remove it from the machine. This is of great benefit if the job in question has a small tolerance and is hard to set again or is a larger item.
3 and 4 axis CNC milling
Benefitting from five Hurco machining centres, two with 4th axis, we have the capability to machine a large selection of components, encompassing batch production runs to bespoke prototypes.
What component materials are appropriate for CNC machining?
PEEK, Stainless Steel, Copper, Aluminium, Carbon steels, Aluminium bronze, Phosphor bronze, brass and plastics and even ceramic glass rod has been successfully machined here at Acutech.
Why you may need CNC milling services?
Many sectors in the manufacturing industry rely heavily on machining including, aerospace, automotive and the marine industry to name a few. CNC milling is beneficial for components that need to be precise, highly produced and produced with uniformity.
